The History of Actos Lawsuits

By 2008, Actos was the 10th most prescribed drug, generating over $4 billion in profits for Takeda. By 2010, more than 2 million people had received prescriptions for Actos. It was then that the first lawsuit was filed against Takeda under the False Claims Act. Other lawsuits followed over the next year or two.
